Aston CC Under 9's had 2 very tough games on June 30th against two excellent sides.
After restricting the unbeaten Walmley side to a low total with some outstanding fielding and bowling,
they were unable to score the runs needed after some poor running between the wickets.
In the second game against Handsworth it was another spirited performance against an established and
strong home side, and we fell around 10 runs short of chasing a large target.
Excellent captaincy from Inzi and a great debut from Umar Chohan on the day.
Husnain also showed himself to be a superb batsman and his brother Osama went away with the man of the
Match award - 2 tickets to Australia Pakistan on Monday, courtesy of Omar Chaudhrey,
